With Moldova being the poorest country in Europe, it is sadly home to the highest percentage of trafficked children. These children not only live with the danger of being trafficked, but they also face the daily struggles of poverty, abuse, and neglect.
Today on the World Day of Social Justice, we celebrate all that God is doing throughout the lives of the ones we serve in Moldova. Today our sponsorship program supports 641 vulnerable children, 31 children with special needs, and 52 Transitional Living & Independent Living teens. All who now have a hope and a future.
Last month one of our faithful sponsors blessed the entire village of Catranic where his sponsored child lives. He gave funds to provide food bags for 34 of the neediest families in that community. This amazing gift not only brought nourishment for each family, but it also reminded them that they are dearly loved, and not forgotten. There is so much to celebrate, and be thankful for, but we are aware there are thousands more children to reach.
