A Letter From Our CEO
to the JMI Community
JMI exists to help create Gospel-centered life change for the poor, the vulnerable, and the forgotten. It’s a big calling that can only happen when God steps in and rescues His people. This year, you have helped bring about this sustainable life change through giving, sponsoring, and going. You chose to bless our ministry, and the Lord worked in the lives of vulnerable children and teens, jungle pastors, and refugees. I am incredibly grateful for your partnership and participation in this Gospel-centered work.
In 2024, JMI took xx people on international mission trips, provided xx number of meals to families in need, trained xx number of Indigenous leaders, and supplied winter coats, clothing, shoes, and school supplies for vulnerable children. None of this could have happened without your faithful support.
We have big, God-sized plans for the next 12 months. We want to expand our Transitional Living program for teens in Moldova by buying another home for girls. We want to grow the number of jungle pastors being trained and encouraged in the Amazon and also begin to take mission teams to the unreached western part of the state of Amazonas. We want to develop a partnership between our ministry in Moldova and our new ministry in Italy by sending and receiving mission teams to each country. There are new vans to be bought and repairs to boats and houses to be made. With every tangible action we take, we will also share the good news of Jesus’ love and sacrifice so that those we serve have an opportunity to make Him the center of their lives.
To do all that we have planned for 2025, we need to raise an additional $600,000 by the end of this year. Would you be willing to give a year-end gift to help us stay on budget? Your employer may offer a matching gift, so use our online tool below to see if your gift can increase!
Your support means so much to us. Thank you for caring for the poor, the vulnerable, and the forgotten in Moldova, the Amazon, and Italy.
Many blessings,
Mary Katharine Hunt
