A Letter From Our CEO
to the JMI Community
What an incredible year of God’s faithfulness and provision! Time and again, we witnessed Him meet the needs of the poor, the vulnerable, and the forgotten through your generosity, prayer, and partnership. From Moldova to the Amazon to Italy, lives were transformed as the Gospel was shared in both word and action.
In Moldova, you helped us mobilize quickly to reach families facing a devastating winter heat crisis. We delivered coal and supplies to hundreds of homes, and many of you gave sacrificially so others could stay warm. We also renewed our support for Ukrainian refugees, partnering with local churches to care for families and welcoming refugee children into our sponsorship program. More than 600 vulnerable children attended our summer camps, where they experienced the love of Christ. This year, we also opened a new Transitional Living home for girls, creating a safe place for more at-risk teens to grow, heal, and pursue a hopeful future. Four of our Transitional Living graduates were able to go on a mission trip to Italy, working with our JMI missionaries there, serving children and sharing their own stories of God’s redemption.
In the Amazon, over 300 pastors attended our Jungle Pastors’ Conferences, and we began construction on a new sleeping pavilion beside the John Pac Center—a place for pastors to rest and be refreshed. At the same location, our Children’s Leaders Conference brought together ministry leaders for training and practical tools to help shepherd and protect nearly 2,500 children across the region. We expanded farther west, hosting our first mission trip to Tefé, launching a sponsorship program there, and celebrating the first graduating class of our Extended Theological Training (ETT) program. This fall, a new ETT cohort began deeper in the jungle, in Boca do Acre, continuing our mission of equipping pastors to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth.
As we look to 2026, we’re trusting God to guide our ministry and provide for the work He has called us to do. To stay on budget and move boldly into the new year, we need to raise an additional $400,000 by December 31. Would you prayerfully consider a year-end gift to help us continue this work?
Many blessings,
Mary Katharine Hunt
