The goal of JMI’s ministry in Moldova is to seek out the country’s most vulnerable children, offer them hope, and provide them with the personalized resources, opportunities, and Christ-honoring values they need to succeed in life. JMI mission teams help identify the most vulnerable through camp programs. Camps include Bible study, music, games, crafts, and life skills and allow us to share the love and hope of Jesus with all the participating children.

Do JMI Moldova Trips require a COVID vaccination or COVID testing?
Right now there are no COVID requirements for travel to Moldova. However, JMI requires all vaccinated travelers to take a home test before traveling as a precaution. Currently, no COVID testing is required for US citizens returning to the US. Please be aware that COVID requirements can change at any moment.
Are any other vaccinations required for this trip?
At this point no other vaccinations are required for travel to Moldova, but we encourage you to talk to your doctor about what is best for you.
Do I need to purchase travel insurance?
JMI has a robust travel insurance policy that covers you in an emergency. This includes medical emergencies.
Our travel insurance does not include trip interruption or if you have to stay in the country longer due to a COVID quarantine. If you wish to purchase additional insurance we suggest TravelSafe. Please contact them directly if you have any policy questions.
Do I need a visa to travel to Moldova?
To visit Moldova for tourism, you do not need a visa.
What does the trip cost include?
The trip cost covers flights and all in-country expenses–everything except airport meals, travel interruptions not covered by the airline, and souvenirs.
What happens if I get sick?
We have nurses on staff in Moldova and are always in proximity to a healthcare facility if more serious medical attention is needed.
Can I charge my phone?
Yes, you will be able to charge your phone while in Moldova, but you will need an adapter so your charging cord will fit in the outlet.
What is the group size?
The size of the group may vary. We can have trips ranging from 15 to 40.
What ages does this trip include?
We ask all participants to be at least 15 years old. Anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent or person acting as their parent with them.
