A Christmas to Remember in Moldova
This Christmas was a rich time with dear ones in Moldova. Our teams from the U.S. were able to visit nearly a dozen villages and orphanages around the country. Being with the poor and vulnerable during the Christmas season is a reminder of just why Jesus came — for those that are forgotten by the world. Check out our quick recap video of the trip below.
Meet Osvana
Osvana lives on the banks of the Amazon in a very poor village that JMI has served for years. She has been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease called alopecia areata, also known as spot baldness. Doctors say that Osvana is far too young to be experiencing such a severe case of this disease. That may mean that she may lose her hair more often than we would like through her lifetime. It will constantly grow back with treatment, but anytime she is stressed, sad, traumatized, or emotional her hair may fall out.
We would love to add Osvana to our special needs program in the Amazon so that we can provide her with ongoing medication and her family with the things they need to survive. But she needs a sponsor.
Would you stand in the gap for Osvana? Simply reach out to Rachel at [email protected] to join us as her sponsor.
