We urgently need your prayers!
Our team and the ones we serve in the state of Amazonas are going through a devastating and painful time as COVID-19 cases rise in the area with three new variants.
As the cities and communities go into lockdown there are many areas along the Amazon river that have no hospital facilities or access to medication. Our jungle pastors have been calling our team on the ground, some of them have tested positive, and many people in their communities are sick with the virus.
As the COVID-19 numbers rise dramatically the hospitals are overrun and overwhelmed, and they are running out of oxygen! With the state going into lockdown, we see the need for urgent provision of food and medication in the weeks and months ahead. Our JMA staff are working from home and are safe and well, but there are many friends in hospital fighting for their lives.
Please join us in praying for God’s protection, and provision for the Amazon people. Pray for our JMA team on the ground who are working tirelessly to find ways to assist and connect with those who are most in need.
