May 23, 2011 – JMI’s 3rd Annual Benefit Golf Tournament
The thrill of victory and the agony of chili dips, duck hooks, embarrassing shanks and verbal barbs continues for another year as supporters of JMI tee it up again to claim world domination over their golf-chasing brethren and the fabled greens of Temple Hills Country Club.
As in previous years, we’ll gather around noon on Monday, May 23rd to warm up, collect your goodie bags and be apprised of the Scramble rules before our shot-gun start at 1 p.m. Foursomes are limited to two members of Rolling Hills per team and two guests. A web-based sign-up page will be available to register your teams beginning in April. Single players may also register and will be placed on teams. There is a $95 entry fee and prizes will be awarded for the lowest net scores, longest drive, closest to the pin and longest marshmallow drive. A snack supper will be served at the conclusion of the event to acknowledge winners.
This is a great event for men and women and is designed to not only raise money for JMI’s mission causes but also to serve as an outreach tool for Rolling Hills. As you watch for further details, feel free to be proactive by organizing your teams in advance.
Whether you play like a ringer or a duffer, everyone is a winner when we get together to raise money for needy children!
