Thursday, October 3 was a night not soon forgotten for our JMI Family. The JMI Gala had 600 guests and volunteers in person, in addition to several thousand friends and supporters around the world watching from their homes.
The evening was hosted by author and Bible teacher Kelly Minter, and included live music by Christy Nockels, great food courtesy of Flavor Catering, and many special guests. Our National Directors, along with other staff from Moldova and the Amazon, all shared their life changing stories.

One of the many highlights of the evening was hearing from three of our Moldovan shining stars: Tudor, Stela, and Tanea. Each of them have pasts marked by hardship and abandonment, but through God’s kindness and grace, they were given a hope and a future through JMI’s programs. They came through our Transitional Living program, and are now on staff with JMI. Each has a unique story of Jesus’ redemption in their lives. As they stood and shared their stories, tears were shed, hearts were moved, and we celebrated how much our great God has done, and continues to do as He works through JMI to care for the poor, the orphaned, and the forgotten.
