3rd Annual Jungle Pastors Conference (2014)
“He who descended is the very one who ascended higher than all the heavens, in order to fill the whole universe. So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.” Ephesians 4:10-13
We spent almost one week with men and women who are heroes living around and in the jungles of the Amazon making Christ known to people who would never be able to reach. These guys, in spite of the distance, the lack of “everything” and specially in spite of their anonymity, are turning the Amazon upside down by obeying God in what He told them to do. We were touched and challenged as we heard their stories and testimonies about what they have seen and done. We were loved and cared for in our attempt to care for them and to love them.
What a wonderful experience we had in our Pastor’s Conference 2014!!!
There were 30 pastors and 15 pastor’s wives that were attentive and thirsty for knowledge. The subjects varied between Old Testament, Discipleship, and Youth and Children’s ministry. The women had very specific sessions that addressed their role, identity and purpose in ministry beside their husbands.
Beyond that, we realized all together that God’s army is set. We realized how powerful it is to fulfill Ep 4:12-16. If the body is truly equipped, God’s mission for HIS Church and his creation will be fulfilled. We will eagerly wait for our 4th Annual Jungle Pastors Conference that will take place in the first quarter of February, 2015. Please pray for this project, and be a part of it by adopting a Pastor, his ministry and his expenses for training next year. For more information you can email:
You can also help send a pastor to our conference next February by going to our sponsorship page and choosing the option called “Jungle Pastor Conference.”
We are better together!
