“She told me also that Jesus came for the blind.”
These are the words of Daniel, a jungle pastor serving in one of the most remote areas of the world: the banks of the mighty Amazon River. Until very recently, Daniel did not know how to read or write, yet he was faithfully leading his small church in the Amazonas region of Brazil. After attending our Annual Jungle Pastors’ Conference on the River, Daniel and his wife Semeia said that the week “felt like being at a seminary for 2-3 years” because they learned so much. They went back to their church with fresh vision and renewed hope for what their lives could mean for the Kingdom. “JMI is bringing the light of God’s word to this huge universe of lakes and villages.”
The Father has been so gracious to us in 2017, and done immeasurably more than we could ask or imagine. We believe there is much more to do, and have big dreams and plans for the year ahead. Would you coming alongside us and making a year-end gift so that we can continue to serve faithful men and women like Daniel and Semeia? We believe they are they means of the Gospel to the ends of the Earth. What better investment is there?
