Last month the Justice & Mercy Amazon team embarked on a small mission trip in partnership with AMOR Mission and Comunidade Viva church, to visit a village called Abelha. The village consists of 300 indigenous families, who have faced great struggles and hardships during the pandemic. Pastor Israel has been leading the village church for the last 5 years. He faithfully serves the community, pointing them to Jesus in everything he does. The team was able to distribute food bags and clothes, have a small group time with the women and be a part of the church service. This was an encouraging time for all the community and a beautiful reminder that they are not forgotten! Watch the video here!
Thousands of villages throughout the state of Amazonas are being impacted by the worst floods ever recorded in the area. This is a devastating time for so many families. Will you help us make a tangible difference here, as we provide food, hygiene and medical supplies for the vulnerable families of the Amazon?
Thank you for Making Justice Personal with us.
