Nehemiah Summer Study Group Give Goal

Help Us Build A New Boat in the Amazon

Planning for the future

Recently, the JMI team realized that we need a bigger, more customized boat to host our mission teams in the Amazon. The new boat will be a floating training center able to hold onboard training for 30+ people. It will enable us to host larger mission teams and provide medical and dental care with an onboard pharmacy. With the design of the new boat we will be able to travel into shallower waters, and go to places we currently cannot reach, as well as transport and house pastors and their wives during their time at our Jungle Pastors’ Conferences.

We began construction on the new boat, the Splendor, in Fall 2019. Everything is going extremely well, but we need to raise an additional  $100,000 more to finish out the project.

Kelly’s Nehemiah Summer 2020 Study Group can help us reach this goal and provide transportation that will  impact the next 20+ years of ministry as we seek to accomplish the Great Commission in the state of Amazonas.

New Boat

A New Custom Boat

Will Enable Us To:

Host larger mission teams

This year, we expect to host 11 mission teams and many trips will have 18+ team members plus Brazilian volunteers and crew.

have a Training Center

Our goal is to have a floating training center in order to hold onboard trainings for 30+ people.

Provide medical care

A bigger boat would allow us to provide medical and dental care with an onboard pharmacy and storage for medical supplies.

Travel Efficiently

This custom build would enable us to travel into shallower waters, enabling us to go to places that we currently cannot reach.

Better transportation

We would be able to transport pastors and their wives during their times at our Jungle Pastors’ Conferences.

Reach the ends of the earth

Continue our work to help accomplish the Great Commission in the state of Amazonas.
