Our mission

We exist to promote Gospel-centered life change for the poor, the vulnerable, and the forgotten. Justice & Mercy International (JMI) is a faith-based, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that primarily works in Moldova in Eastern Europe and in the Amazon region of Brazil. We do our work through programs that have the Good News of Jesus at their core. 

Our Vision

We envision a day when justice has truly been made personal—when every child is protected, every family is cared for, every pastor is equipped, and the Good News of Jesus has been taken to the ends of the Earth.

We envision a time when justice has truly been made personal and the Gospel has been clearly communicated to and modeled for the people of all the places where God has called JMI and his church to work.

Our programming reflects our desire to make lasting and tangible change for the world’s most vulnerable. By addressing physical, economic, and spiritual poverty, we have seen that JMI programming is life-changing.

We work through indigenous and LOCAL LEADERS and churches to achieve our ministry goals. Because local leaders speak the language and know the culture, they are better equipped to meet the needs of their people. Therefore, our national, in-country staff is empowered to lead the ministry of JMI on the ground. We strive to equip leaders, pastors, and churches with the training they need to fulfill Jesus’ Great Commission.
