Global Initiatives
Even before JMI incorporated, some key leaders sat down and decided on a long-term goal of establishing ongoing ministries on every viable continent. They also identified 8 debilitating global problems that could be significantly impacted by a growing group of committed volunteers and supporters. The issues they decided to tackle are identified with commentary on the links to the right.
Every country has its own laundry list of societal ills that range from acute problems to systemic evils. Rather than imposing a single service or program on every country, JMI determined to formulate and adapt projects to meet each country’s most pressing needs. In Moldova, those are multiple problems: orphans, poverty and human trafficking. In South Africa, poverty and disease. And along the Amazon River in Brazil, they are poverty and a sometimes hostile environment.
We invite you to explore how JMI is making a difference in the world and join our family of volunteers and supporters. And we hope you’ll join us in making God’s dreams for His world come true!
